A Call Button to add to your Toolbox

The CallToU wireless pager can be a helpful gadget at home when caring for a loved one. The CallToU is a simple call button that can be placed by the bedside or in the bathroom or any place your loved one is during the day or night. It has a 500-foot range. Wherever you may in your home, the receiver can be plugged in near your location. The call button has the flexibility of being worn by your loved one, hung on the bed, hung within reach in the bathroom or secured with a bracket or double-sided sticker tape.

The receiver is plugged into an outlet and has 55 ring tones to choose from with 5 volume levels. I ordered the set with 2 receivers and 2 call buttons. When I was caregiving for two, I gave one to my mom to be used in her bedroom and mounted one in our bathroom for my husband.

I keep the volume up on mine probably louder than most people would be comfortable with. Knowing that I could be anywhere in the house or out back with the dog, I wanted to make sure I could hear the bell. Mine sounds like a doorbell. I was sure the ringtone would have the dog barking wildly each time it went off.

To my surprise she quickly figured out that it was not the doorbell.

There are many other brands on the market to check out. This is the one I use. I bought mine on Amazon for $41.99 but, later discovered it is listed at Walmart for $33.99. Read the reviews to find the one that best meets your needs and budget. This alarm does not have anyone outside monitoring it. It is strictly used as a call button from the button to the receiver.
